Cams = LOUDER exhaust
I have a stock MR right now. I have a Perrin TBE (uninstalled). I just ordered some Kelfords too. How much louder will the cams make the exhaust tone? Is it noticeable? I bought the Perrin because it seems relatively quiet but sounds mean!

Congrats on the results. That is the number I am shooting for! If I can hit 350whp I'll be happy. Going down to CT for the install/tune this month! What are you revving to just out of curiousity? Are you going past the stock limiter, is that why you went with spring/retainers?

well it revs to about 8000 I think, havent tried going farther than that but havent hit the rev limiter either, But as you can see in my dynograph, the power drops down by 8000 anyways, so If I shift there, i am right back in the peak power band. It is on 93 octane and maxes out about 26 psi of boost. I went with the upgraded springs and retainers because the kelford 272's recommended upgrading, i'd just as well do it while I was already in there. I know the springs set cost almost as much as the cams but I would say its a good learning experience too if you do it yourself.
