even if you do beat on it, it'll be fine. i've never babied mine. i've never abused it by doing repeated donuts and drifts (only because i don't have a place to do it safely), but i do launch it whenever necessary (autocrosses, dragging, or if i just get the urge), and it sees redline and triple digit speeds every day. I use my daily commute as practice between autocrosses. my car never has a day off, and it's still running great.

Fun to see that I will buy a car that can actually be very reliable for a long time use. Did you encounter big problems during those 150k ?? I mean beside upgrades, how much did you put in the car for maintenance ?

nothing but standard maintenance. oil changes every 5k, timing/acc/balance belts every 60k, diff/TC/tranny fluid changed every 30k, brakes/tires as needed, water pump at 120k, clutch/flywheel change at 70k, then again at 120k, and other than a couple light bulbs in the dash around 100k, that's really about it.

Man it cracks me up, I see you post about 150k + in a lot of other sections on this site. But good on you, love to see the evo running that long and great. Anyways with that many miles where the hell have you driven to? haha. Have you toured the whole usa?
