Hey guys i have a quick question.. Recently my buddy put his car together and out of no where anytime when he is dead stopped and we begin to start moving the car. The car shakes a good amount and then stops after we get the car rolling faster. As in Driving . We opened his hood and i had him start driving to check out the engine and the motor shakes back and forth with a good amount of play.

Bad Motor Mount?

Anyone had this happen before..

Car has a New Quarter master clutch as well

Does it just shake when engaging/slipping the clutch, and stop when it's fully engaged?

Thats normal quartermaster behavior. Enjoy it.

car only does it when engaging the clutch from a dead stop. Once the car is rolling its just fine. I have a quarter master in my evo and it doesnt do that. I personally drove the car and its doing the same thing with me driving it.

Well i checked out his front motor mount and the bolt is striped and was loose. We are gonna go to Ace hardware and get a new bolt and tighten to see if the problem goes away
