TB Shaft Seals

Ok so i have a boost leak thats coming from my throttle body and my blow off valve and im gonna replace the shaft seals. So my question is which shaft seals should i use? The Mil.Spec ones or the Works ones? im not sure which ones to go with so let me kno

ive used the mil spec and they worked well so far he has a vendor thread somewhere on here he ships fast and will even send a throttle body gasket if you want.

Mil.Spec; get a new TB gasket too as mentioned above.

im sure there both basically the same.. i have the works, they went in easily and ive had no problems with them

sorry if this is slightly off-topic but i'm sure i'm not the only one who wants to know.... the install walkthrough i believe said to lub the TB seals when you push them back in.... any recommendations on the lub?

Search theres a DIY on how to do it. As for lube just put some synthetic grease nothing special.

i used a small amount of lithium grease on the outside of the seals to help them slide into place and on the tb shaft itself cause its a moving part

I used dielectric grease as well. I went with the WORKS seals. I have one seal because i f'ed on of them up and had to buy another set. I got mine for 20 shipped.....I can hook you up if you pm me
