Threaded shift knob

Anyone know where I can find a threaded carbon fiber shift knob? I see the one on the AMS site that is the Vibrant one but I dont want my shifter to be any taller than it already is. I see tons of them that have the set screws but I would much rather have it screwed on.

Although we don't have carbon fiber shift knobs, you might want to check our line up of weighted shift knobs:

www.twmshiftknobs.com

They all feature a thread on design and are height adjustable. They can sit lower, higher or at the same height as the stock shift shift knob.

Is there a reason you dont want your shifter to be any taller? Its not making the throw any longer...I personally have the AMS Vibrant carbon fiber shift knob and I love it. Not only does it look good, but the slight increase in height helps give the shifter a little more leverage. And FWIW I looked around for a while for a threaded carbon fiber shift knob and the only one I managed to find was the AMS Vibrant piece. Good luck with your hunt

Yeah I know but I like it to be stock hight or shorter. How much taller is the AMS Vibrant one? Can you post any pics of it? I really liked it up until the taller part. I am 6'4 and have long arms so I don't need any more leverage on it

I've been looking for one of these too, just don't want to drop $60 on one. But I do want it to be true CF, rather than CF "look"

These are a few that I found on ebay that look promising:

Someone is also selling a Sparco CF "look" one in the interior/sound forum.

I have the top one. Its great quality but it has a logo on the top and it is not threaded. Ends up working its way loose after a few weeks. Here is what the logo looks like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_3636wt_902
