I say don't take chances. Go OEM and save yourself possible frustration and fitment issues...

Depends, IMO. I can do paint and body work, so for me, I am buying the jdm rear from ebay. i will make it fit perfect if it doesnt already. I will also paint it myself anyways, so i am gonna get the ebay rear.

If you are somebody that is unfamiliar with autobody or have to pay someone to get it painted, you might as well get the real one. After paint and possible fitment issues, you might be at the cost of an authentic one by then.

Is it really a $400 difference? The ebay bumpers are about $200 bucks but shipping is another $150. Then you add painting the thing which is at least another $200 for a good paint job. Thats $550.....we have a couple vendors on here that can them to you for just another $200 or so. Just my 2cents.

I can pick it up and I can paint it so no shipping or painting costs. Guess I'm gonna go in that route then. I was more interested in the quality and fitment that people had.

If thats the case then i say go for it. I haven't read a single fitment issue with the bumper...just that to alot of people the cost is nearly the same for something that isn't authentic. If it was a 4-500 difference for me...i might have done ebay also.

^ Ebay **** works wonders on my car.

I say try it out, I know you can get it painted for free so might as well. Majority of evom will tell you to go AUTHENTIC, but that comes with buying Rotas vs $3,000 Volks.
