Within half an hour of searching at South Coast Mitsubishi for a Subaru WRX STi, I decided to get the Evolution VIII. Yes, some may question in their minds what the heck I was doing at a Mitsubishi dealership for a Subaru. Don't worry. I thought the same thing when I was at the Subaru dealership right across the street from South Coast Mitsubishi of Costa Mesa, California and when I saw a huge selection of WRX STi's at South Coast wondering why the heck Mitsubishi had way more WRX's and WRX STi's. lol.

It was pretty pathetic to have gone over to the actual Subaru dealership and to find two STi's that were overpriced; I didn't like the lack of selection they had there. I gave South Coast Mitsubishi a shot and saw the line of STi's there and fell in love. However, I ended up getting a great deal on an Evolution VIII.

I'd say I found my current car within half an hour of searching through their inventory. I will admit that I still love STi's. I wouldn't mind trading in my Evolution one day for the STi.

took me about 1-1.5 months. I really wanted a IX with SSL package but I settled for one without it and the next closest ones were over 500 miles away. This car had 28k miles on it and 2 owners , was a little nervous about buying it at first but it was barely modded.

took me 2 - 2.5 months i believe. Almost had an 03 with low miles, then someone outbid me on craigslist. Ended up with a newer, less mileage 05 for a not much more (almost lost it to another person again [i was getting mad lol]). If you are patient, good things will come.
