install ? aps w/ injen intake kit...
Just purchased an aps dual vent off of a forum member (awaiting shipment) and was curious as to how it plumbs into the injen intake??? I was told by the member that he had the injen intake kit, and he had it in the vertical position, and worked flawlessly... He also said he didnt need to lube it up or teflon tape the adjustment screw... so I guess Im looking for confirmation on the correct way to have it plumbed into the "Injen Kit", which from my understanding is in the stock location... Just by visualizing it, looks like it would HAVE to be vertical, but just looking for some clarifaction...
2 reasons I ask.
1. I read that I will need to get a new (longer) fuel/vac. line for the bov, and if its in the vertical position, it doesnt look like it will need a longer line. (just a guess by visualizing it)
2. in the pic from aps, (w/ the stock pipng) shows it in the horizontal position, which would require the need for a longer vac. line...
Just wanna know exactly what Im doin w/ it, when I get it...
TIA

I have the same Injen intake/intercooler pipe kit and APS Blow off valve. It just took the place of the factory unit without getting anything else. It is in the vertical position and works great, you'll be happy with your purchase. Good luck

TY for the response! exactly what I was lookin for... a lil confirmation! only reason for even asking is that this is contrary to all of the pics I have seen... which were stock, and a couple custom set ups...
