Updated AEM Tru-Boost impressions

I've just received the pod today and am pretty excited. The abilities of this thing are pretty cool, and I'm interested to hear back any feedback concerning the function of this piece. I've already bought the pod and am happy with my decision, so I'm not really looking to be slammed, but practical feedback would be great. Thanks.

For 200 it is a great deal! You can go over 30psi so please don't tell people that. It will not read over 30psi however you can get 40psi with the std AEM tru-boost. You just have to turn the duty cylce up!

i dont understand what your saying here. The truboost can control boost over 30 psi with this upgrade

http://www.amazon.com/AEM-30-4351-Up.../dp/B001DX7KEM

it also reads to above 75psi as two of my friends have them on there cars. it will control boost past 30 with the upgrade above and its also the ONLY AEM BOOST GUAGE and reads NEGATIVE to let you know when its reading vacuum and not boost and the others dont. I got a deal on one for 180 shipped and also somebody is selling a 50 psi guage like i need for 165 shipped so im caught between the 2 but im leaning torward the truboost just because it reads in NEGATIVE not to mention I already have a Forge MBC so i just want the boost reading capablities anywho.

It only displays up to 30# unless you get the 5 bar map sensor upgrade. I don't know how it would "control" any boost over 30# without it since the sensor would never know what you hit past 30.

Yeah, I already got the part and for what I wanted right now it seems sufficient. As for 30+ boost, I'll have a while till then - breaking in new engine.
