help? weird noise in between shifts
OK, so today driving randomly my service engine light goes on, also i noticed that in between shifts (usually when the turbo spools) theres this reving sound that sounds like somethings spinning or reving up im not sure how to explain it, only that ive never heard it before. Its almost like a RC car kinda sound. im at around 32K and have had a new clutch and fly in but theyve been in since around 25K so this is new. IM gonna get it scanned to see what pops up for the service light, but does anyone have any idea what the sound in between shifts could be?

well update, car took a dump basically. Driving back from class around 6pm today. everythings fine all day besides the random noise in between shifts noted above and the check engine light is on(didnt have a choice its my DD), but besides that it drove fine, on my way back just driving maybe 35mph something happened, heard a loud clanking noise. Luckly costed into a gas station..
Originally thought i could of blown the motor, turned it off popped the hood no leaks or holes noted, starts and only makes the loud clanking noise when i press the clutch in sometimes when just idleing mostly when i press the clutch, i mean this seriously sounds like some one threw something in there and started just bouncing around kinda noise, so im presuming maybe my trans, could be throw out bearing? also the car dies if i try to put it in gear, maybe broke a gear? any ideas? kinda a crappy description, but would like some other views on it.
