Stock turbo, stock motor you did 490... I find this had to believe, one anything over 400hp is already outside the compressor map of the stock turbo. Sure you can crank the boost up to 35psi and maybe make a pit more power over 30psi but the turbo will blow up very quick and should not be ran on the street over 30-3psi max. My stock turbo going from 30psi to 35psi only lasted for 3 weeks and I split the shaft in 3 pieces and blew oil everywhere!

sorry to hear about your mishap, everyone here has a story, when my engine overheated I ended up with a built engine.

lol i have a built longblock, fp red, 33psi

when i added kelford 272 i had comp cams 272 before
kelford and meth ftw

See I knew you were hiding something. I didn't want the OP to think he was going to see these kind of gains with stock motor, stock turbo. You and I both know he won't. Please don't influence new evo owners that is asking for help in the wrong direction... sneeky

Congrats on your built longblock. My built longblock will be going in shortly.
