Thats just crazy! Some people shouldnt work on their cars.

Also i would avoid welding because you might fuse the lug to the stud and then you have a whole different problem.

+1, I did the exact same thing. thats the best, cheapest way to go.

theres not much u can do besides what everybody else obviously already mentioned or some magic, as if maybe youll wake up in the morning and its undone itself???

socket and hammer. I had the key break on me instead of the lugnut. just went to the dealer and bought a new key. or if you dont feel like it, most tire shops will remove it for you for a few dollars and not 100$.

take it to any tire shop and they'll take it off, we used to have a set to take off stripped lugs there, charge you 20 bucks max. hope this helps

Just go to sears or other places that sell tools and buy a lug nut removeal kit for $20-30 and you can do it yourself and youll have the tools for if it happens again.

yea beat a smaller socket on to it and force it off. done that before and works.

this same exact thing happened to me before
