I fully support a matte black vinyl wrap. If and when done right, no one will be able to tell it's vinyl.

Do it. Do it.

I wanted to do the same thing.

I talked to the only shop around that does the work and they said if I were to do something other than a solid color it would be worth it. They said just flat black would not be worth doing.

My guess is that they are just not skilled enough to do a good job on a soild color and can hide the bubbles and other screw ups in the rice rides they create.

I so wish I had two evos. I would certainly do one flat black now though I am sort of liking my silver/black thing I have going on.

What is up with the scrub remarks from people lately? Dude was asking a simple question....If you don't know why say something so *** like? Just so you know people with Lambo/ferrari do the wrap all the time as repainting your car a different color drops value greatly.

You can always just peel it off also without hurting the real paint. GL OP and let us know if you do it. Cars look great 99% of the time when it's done.

Key word in bold Try about 6kish to a very reputable shop with the best paint. No everyone is wiling or able to paint their own car....

flat black evo would be nasty. if done right you would not be able to tell it was wrapped. unless the doors or jambs were open. and if you didnt like you can just tear it off. but the black might get so hot in the sun it might be really tough to take off if it bakes on the car???? might want to check that out also.

I like this idea, however I do agree rust could be a problem. Realistically how long would the vinyl last under daily driving conditions??
