I need a shift light

This one! You need it.
Seriously though, if you are just daily driving the car, a shift light is not needed at all. Keep an eye on the tach for god's sake. You shouldn't even have to see anything, just from the feel and sound of the car you should know when to shift.
Don't mean to flame, just poking a little fun. I haven't really heard of many shift lights in DD evo's either.

Shift to third, then fourth, then fifth, then when you get to 8500 rpm in fifth, swerve towards any object that has a good foundation in the ground (i.e. medians and poles).

+1 this says it all...you should be able to tell by sound of the engine...very easy in an evo.

You guys are funny, I had my music too loud and was trying to go around some suv that think his car was faster than my. No rod knock yet, I guess it help to change oil at every 3k.
