Its a must to replace if the motor blew in your car, cant reuse the oil cooler that was coupled up to a motor that blew.

Couldnt hurt to do anyway really even if you didnt blow the motor. STM's is very well priced.

Yea STM's is pretty fairly priced, or I'd at least use a clean stock one.

Oil coolers are there as a redundancy. If you drive fairly hard or plan on tracking it, it's a must. Otherwise you can survive without one

put an oil temp gauge in and find out. If conditions you expose the car to require one then add one ....if not then no worries

In this case, I would get one for sure. Consider it cheap insurance so you don't overheat the oil.

If you plan on driving the car hard, I would definitely recommend you use a cooler.

Heres a better question. Why skimp on a $200 part that helps keep your engine from being fried?

Do it right do it once. That's my motto and it applies except when it comes to doing it over because you want more power...that doesn't count

Does anyone have logs of the oil temps with the STM oil cooler compared to the OEM one? I'd be interested in a good oil cooler to protect my built motor.
