does your IC pipes have a nice bead on the end of it. sometimes if the bead is not high enough the hose and clamp could slip off.

also could be your clamps but i suspect the bead on the pipe.

We use hairspray as a glue, then clamp

Just get T-bolt, because it'll suck to have it come off on the side of the road somewhere far away.

well I went to a local hardware store and got t bolt clamps put them on and it is running like new again appreciate all the feedback and advice

Autozone does not carry T-Bolts. Get them from Napa, Goodyear, or any other pneumatics/hydraulics store.

I had this problem. I thought I blew my engine a few times when I gunned it.... I bought a longer rubber cuppler thing and put 2 clamps on there. Problem solved. I wish I would have known about hair spray. Sounds interesting..

Haha! A group of my buddies fixing the IC pipes after they popped off... I thought I had blown my engine at first...
