Need advice ASAP: Is this a fair price for a stock IX MR SE with 2,400 miles on it?

i wouldnt pay a penny more than what is listed on nadaguide.com or kelly blue book. they usually differ in price so i would figure out the average.

also you sure its been always stock? i'd get someone very intimately familar with evos to check if its been tampered with. im not saying modded is necessarily bad but you seem to be wanting stock.

I agree with what everyone else says here... for what you describe as what you are looking for, I say just wait and look for one with a bit more miles and alot less.

I paid $24,500 for mine back in DEC 2008, completely stock with 9000 miles on it. You can find other ones within the $23-25k range with less than 20k miles on it. You just have to take your time and be willing to travel a few states away to get it but it will be worth it in the long run.

here is one that looks worth looking into.

If you get it and dont like it you could trade it for the evo X GSR. the price is kinda steep but then again its rare gem. good luck

PMed you back SpeedLimit.

I have been thinking about it. It is a lot of money to spend. Granted it may be a gem, that is still a hefty price tag like you guys said. I just emailed him to reconsider.

So, does any one know of any stockish IX MRs with lower miles on it for sale ?

original owner EVO's are always worth at least 2k-3k more, plus it has super low miles ++ more $$$$ for that too.
your basically buying a brand new mivec EVO at discount. brand new it went for high $36k
I say its worth it

just a little advice to people wondering if a car is "worth it." this is not a subjective question. there is no "worth it to you" when it comes to car values. cars have a definate, objective value. all you have to do to find it is go to www.nada.com and look it up. that will tell you exactly what the car is worth.

that car is not worth what he's asking, and if you're planning on financing, no bank will finance that amount for that car because it's not worth that much. you'll have to put an assload down to get the loan to value ratio down. the guy is asking too much, bottom line.

here you go:
