Need help ASAP!!! Having bad problems!!!

hey guys i need help figuring out whats wrong with my 03 Evo 8. tonight i was opening it up and it seemed like everything was fine until i came to a turn. my power steering is out, the battery and E brake lights are on, the car says its overheating and when i open the hood it sounds like something is boiling. i have no idea what can be wrong with it. does anyone know what can be wrong??? please help me..

maybe the serp belt broke? or altenator bad with overheating problem? the boiling is weird though. check it in the morning if you are at home already.

ya im home and i thought maybe the serpentin belt but im confused cuz it made it home fine but why would it be marking overheating?

the serp belt also drives the waterpump.

oh ok thanks man but one more question, i know the cars are different but my cousin drives a cobalt ss and he said when his serp belt went his car wouldn't move??? does that soud right?

It would move until the battery died, since the alternator wasn't charging it.
If your belt is fine and you're over heating I would look into a failed water pump or thermostat stuck closed.
