Ouch. Did you put fuel stabilizer (or whatever it's called) in the tank? Is it lifted or on the tires? How long has it been sitting there?
I can tell you right now, you're going to have to flush out all the fluids.
I'm in a similar boat, but I have someone start it once a week and drive it twice a month. I'm also on my way back to my IX. I can't wait!

Agreed, 6 months is not that bad. I would change the oil though for sure. Tires will be fine more than likely.

Not an Evo, but I have a BMW E30 that sat for 2 years before I started it up...it started up fine. I would advise you to change the oil, and check the battery. The battery may be dead from sitting idle for 6 months.

6 months is nothing. I'd take it for a nice long relatively easy drive, and then put some fresh gas in. Otherwise you're good to go. I wouldn't bother changing any fluids (but do check oil level). Oh yeah, check your tire pressures before you go, those may have gone down a bit.

Your case was different, it's the ultimate driving machine.

Unless the gas hand is waving at me and I run out
To the OP, give a good cruising, and some good 93 Octane, THEN change the oil.
