Where has the car been? Storage? Was someone starting it?

Ouch. Did you put fuel stabilizer (or whatever it's called) in the tank? Is it lifted or on the tires? How long has it been sitting there?

I can tell you right now, you're going to have to flush out all the fluids.

I'm in a similar boat, but I have someone start it once a week and drive it twice a month. I'm also on my way back to my IX. I can't wait!

Yea, dude. Your tires are probably done. How long was it sitting there for?

Oh, 6 months is not too bad. I would still flush out the fluids.

I know it's not an Evo, but my R6 sat in storage for 8 months and it started up just fine. Not even a jump needed...

Agreed, 6 months is not that bad. I would change the oil though for sure. Tires will be fine more than likely.

Not an Evo, but I have a BMW E30 that sat for 2 years before I started it up...it started up fine. I would advise you to change the oil, and check the battery. The battery may be dead from sitting idle for 6 months.

6 months is nothing. I'd take it for a nice long relatively easy drive, and then put some fresh gas in. Otherwise you're good to go. I wouldn't bother changing any fluids (but do check oil level). Oh yeah, check your tire pressures before you go, those may have gone down a bit.

Dude that's an E30 those things are effin tanks bro. Mine doesn't look to pretty but I drive it an hour to AND from work most days, and it never lets me down.

Unless the gas hand is waving at me and I run out

To the OP, give a good cruising, and some good 93 Octane, THEN change the oil.
