I think one of the differences is I knew what I was getting myself into and had the right expectations. I also came from a 2001.5 Audi S4 (B5 model) which was incredibly expensive to maintain and a fat pig. I tried to make a luxury car into a sports car and it just didn't work; so now I'm making a sports car into a better sports car.

I have a WW IX MR with a CBE, that's it. Everytime i get in it and drive it, i fall in love with the car like i did the day i brought her home. Best damn car i've ever owned.

Love the GG MR
Having an Evo is kinda like dating a smoking hot chick. You buy her all kinds of expensive stuff to get it to do what you want and she doesn't mind when you pound on her!! Love that car.

I went through EZ pass but left my pass at home. A month later a ticket showed up in my mailbox with a snapshot of my plate. I quickly grabbed the ticket and showed it to my wife and said, "Damn, look at this, this car is hot!" She rolled her eyes.

I agree 100%. My 06 GG doesn't run, I've driven it about 8 times, and I'm in the middle of Afghanistan, but every time I see photos of it I still smile.
