Prosport Premium gauge stuck at -30 PSI

My boost gauge has been stuck at -30 PSI for the last couple days. It lights up, does the "opening ceremony" thingy, etc. I checked the hoses going to the presure sensor, and they appear well connected and without obvious tears or holes. The cable going from the sensor to the firewall looks firmly connected. The same cable going into the gauge seems connected OK too. The car drives normally, boost seems to be there as usual > ~3000 RPM. Any ideas on what I should check next?

Thank you. That's a good suggestion. I did notice the failure a few hours after washing the car (but not the engine bay). Maybe I should have kept it dirty...

I have had TERRIBLE exp with the prosport gauges. Mine did the same thing after about 2 months of having it so i called prosport they sent me a new sending unit and told me too check the grounds and try to keep it in a safe and DRY place. And I ONLY drove my car in nice weather any ways. So i did and it worked for about 2 days and what do ya know it happened again!!!!! They are junk in my opinion and made with cheap parts. I went AEM Gauges and have yet to have one problem.

Thanks, Guys. How did you check ground... by measuring the resistance across the white wire coming out of the sender and the metal of the engine bay (should read ~zero)?

I've had mine for about 2 months and the boost gauge stuck at 0 one time. Thats the only time I've noticed it. Other than that i've had no problems.

For those who may be wondering: A new sender solved the problem for me.

Wow, I'm surprised to see so many people with the same problem. I'm considering pulling my sender apart and using some potting compound on the electronic portion to prevent any problems.

Is the ground concern ppl are having with the actual sender itself or on the gauge harness side? (I assume the sender)
