Without a picture, I doubt anyone will be able to hazard anything more than a completely random guess.
Panels are usually like $500-750 each to repair/repaint. When you replace a bumper, the structure beneath needs to be replaced. When the spare tire well is dented, you could be looking at a bent body. But without pics, we can't tell. Light clusters are expensive from the factory. Did you break any? How many?

it will run about 3000, that was EXACTLY the impact i suffered.
needed new bumper, new bumper cover, new rear support bar, and to fix the inside of the trunk and the buckling on the rear quarter panels. plus straightening and aligning of the trunklid.

The other night, my parents went out to eat. I was at work at the time, and my Evo was in the garage. My parents NEARLY made the decision to take my car out to eat, but changed it at the last second thinking I'd get mad (Damn right). Sure enough, on their way they got rear ended pretty hard. Thank god they didn't take my car.
In your case tho, I'd think the person who hit you would have to pay for it. Isn't that usually the case? Nonetheless, that absolutely blows.
Haha oh and another time some woman pulled out in front of me without looking, and if it wasn't for Brembos I would be without a car. Also some woman in a Caddy nearly rear ended me the other day. I looked back to see her come flying up on me, down looking for something in the passenger seat, while smoking on a cell phone. She came just inches from me. Is my car a near accident magnet?
Crystal Lake, eh? Not too far from me.

my wife of all people rear ended me going about 5mph and it cost $957.42 it looked like nothing was really wrong except for some paint transfer but there were some brackets under the bumper cover that had to be replaced.... (we didn't fix her car and that "accident" cost me my evc5 and some other goodies.. )
