Torn between Evo 6.5 and Evo 7
#16
engine wise, the 4g63 are almost identical thoughout the years.
In terms of the evo 7 being interchangable with the 8 and 9...what exactly would i change from the 8 and 9 thats not on the 7? (other than cosmetic)
These are legit questions, cause im really leaning towards the 6.5 for the aggressive and rawness of the car.

i would go with the 6.5TME just because of the malboro wrc, plus its more old school, looks more aggressive and its rarity its just the icing on the cake... Oh! its also your dream car. lol, you can go wrong with that choice.

6.5. The 7 is just an 8 with an old body kit

Tough one... 6 is the last proper rally car, but IMO the 7 was the (last) best blend of rally car and comfortable street car, it was just to big to be competitive in WRC and they gave up completely by the 8's and 9s.
For me I think it would be the 7 for a street car... AYC, ACD anti-lag equipment, Tephra V7-able without a ECU swap, IMO, cleaner bodywork than the later CT9As, lots of spare parts.

Coming from a country that has way to many evo 7's I find the front bumper hidious. To similar to a Baleen Whales mouth.
The TME is better performance wise and almost everything from a 8 is interchangeable to the 6 or 6.5.
Also long term the TME is going to be a solid investment as the price can go nowhere but up
