how much can your evo tow???

i saw an evo with a hitch and mud flaps towing a boat yesterday on the expressway lol, just wondering how many of you actually have towed things behind your car?

Jesus. Really!? Towing a boat? Either that motor has been swapped for a completely different setup made for torque and towing or that car won't last long... I would trust it to tow some tires and a bike maybe, but a boat is a bit of a stretch...

i jus towed my buddies mustang home... about 2 miles. Also a lil over a year ago my buddy got his full sized suburban stuck in soft sand and i pulled him out... I dont recommend doing this stuff but to me my evo is just a car

hah I give people like that props, its not like the evo is mystical and possesses power only for racing, its just a car.

I would tow a jet ski.. Maybe a quad or 2. The friggen car does have like 200+wtq. More than my Toyota p/u. And I towed another Toyota more than a few miles without issues. Ha ha my mom tows 2 jetskis on a trailer with a Lexus es300, like butter...

This is were the evo wagon would come into play. it would be nice if mitsu could challenge subaru into this market (an all purpose vehicle). Kinda like that forester STi i saw.

i don't think a wrx can tow that much weight. i think it just helped it gain a little more traction, the truck had already started rolling.

subies come with a damn tow ring on the back under the bumper lol i don think were giving our cars enough credit. i think these things can take a lot..

lol it wasnt a yacht.. it looked like a malibu or something. but either way.. it looked very strange lol
