Trunk Shocks/Dampers

Anyone know where i can get a set of trunk shocks for my car. Im sick of my CF trunk flying up so fast. I was told to take one of the bars out... does that work? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Hmm, I've never seen dampers for the trunk. I'd try the one bar thing before I spent money on dampers though. Sounds like it might work.

If you take one of the bars out, the trunk will sit screwed to one side. The bars from a RS are made to work with a lighter trunk - ~17lbs. If the CF is much lighter than that, it will launch-up like a trebuchet. Ask me how I know.

Reminds me when I took the spoiler off my brother's evo. I went to shut the trunk with the same amount of force I always use and it only went half way closed and flew right back up at me.
