Pulled CV joint from axle?

While putting on my coilovers this afternoon, I stretched the axle boot and now the CV joint/bearing? will not go back in. What is going on here? It sounds like a spindle came out but I cannot for the life of me get it back in. Any input?

the innner one I'm guessing??? I had it happen a few times to me, you just need to keep playing around with it and then it'll pop back in

Or you gotta take the boot off and reset the bearings back in place and it should go right back in.

Yup, had to do this on a few of my cars, but you're gonna need a new clip for the boot and the tool to clip it tight

POp it in

Just pop; it back in man, it just takes a sec. If you find yourself trying to put it back in for more then 10 mins.....stop what your doing grab a cold one, take a deep breath and then go try again, I fought with one for 30 mins after a clutch change, I walked away came back an hour later and walla it popped right back in..good luck
