Zeitroniz 2010 model wiring: what connects to ECU pin #49?
Hey guys,
Im in the process of installing Zeitronix wideband 2010 model and boost sensor on my EVO IX. Wire #8 is different. Its White/blue, not brown. What to do about it?
How to threads show this diagram:
ZT2 Pin # for EVO 9
1 (red) – I tapped this into ECU pin # 47 wire (Battery)
2 (white) – don't use
3 (green) - wired this to ECU pin # 45 wire (tachometer)
4 (orange) – wired this to the Green Boost sensor wire
5 (white / blue) – not used yet, but I will wire the Alarm /
Light later
6 (yellow) – wired this to the Red Boost sensor wire
7 (Black) -- ECU pin # 46 wire (sensor earth)
8 (Sensor Ground) -- ECU pin # 49 wire (power ground)
9 – not used
10 (grey) -- ECU pin # 78 wire (TPS)
11 (brown) – wired this to the Black Boost sensor wire
12 – not used
2010 model of Zeitronix is a little different so there is no #8 brown wire.
This is 2009 and older zeitronix pinout:
Signal Harness
PIN # WIRE COLOR FUNCTION
1 RED Switched power (ex. ignition)
2 WHITE Wideband Analog Output
3 GREEN RPM Input. 0-12V square wave, tach signal or primary (low voltage) side of ignition coil.
4 ORANGE Zeitronix Boost (MAP) Sensor Input
5 WHITE/BLUE Warning Output
6 YELLOW Zeitronix Boost Sensor +5V Power. Connect ONLY to Zeitronix Boost Sensor RED.
7 BLACK Power Ground
8 BROWN Sensor Ground (EMS ground reference)
9 PURPLE Simulated Narrowband O2 Output (for your stock ECU) / Linear Wideband Output
10 GREY Throttle Position Sensor
11 BROWN Sensor Ground (Boost Sensor ground reference)
12 BLUE User Input 0-5V
WHITE and BROWN wires are provided to connect the Zt-2 Wideband Controller to your favorite engine management system.

What to do? Is there only 4 connections to ECU now instead of 5 before?
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Spoke to Zeitronix today. They said that if Black ZT wire is already connected to ECU black ground then there is no need for another ground. Also it wouldnt hurt to connect Brown ZT wire to black ECU also but not needed. Just a peace of info for anyone instaling current model.
Thanks
Thanks
