"Do you miss the low end torque at all? I mean aside from doing a 5000rpm clutch drop in the EVO, both cars taking off normal is a decent difference. " Yes at 1st evo felt way sloww but after a while got use to it.The evo has a better power band then my z28(2-5-5k=3.5k rpm) vs evo(3.5-7.5k rpm). well after the s-afc.And evo(stock) was faster then my lighty mod z28 13.50@101(evo)vs13.75@100 (z28)

9500 miles, no problems at all. It does take a little bit to warm up the car in cooler weather. If I just start and not wait for it to warm up before I drive, it will shake a little bit but once it gets warmed up, it is fine.

9 months, 10k miles, 2 oil changes. No probs.
I can't complain. Still running on stock clutch
even with all my mods. Pulls hard, very hard
to redline. Love it.
Forgot, original Advans too. Still going.

There are FAR more satisfied people than there are dissatisfied. You just hear more about the complaints. Once you drive the Evo and experience the overall package it offers you won't miss the low end torque. Add a few mods and you will be more than happy with the power. I still have two cars that are torque monsters and I don't miss the torque when I drive the Evo.
I have close to 8000 miles that include 7 autox events and I have the stock clutch and tires and not a single squeek or rattle and not a single problem....knock on wood

What I did was I retightened the screw which is on the inside of the black window frame. Then for good measure I sprayed lots of WD-40 on it, the contact points of the door and the body, and the door hinges.
Rattle was gone INSTANTLY
BTW to stay on topic:
5 months, 6,500miles.
Other than the rattle above (which has been subsequently fixed), no major problems. I get squeaks in the cabin every now and then, but it seems to disappear after 5-10min of drive.
One thread of the steering stitch is coming off, but I work on the steering hard(er) IMHO.

10k miles. three oil changes. diff and tranny oil replaced. stock clutch. still have tread on my advans (winters on now, much easier to 4 wheel drift and bring the posterior out ). slight chassis noise when entering or exiting my driveway. otherwise i love it. can't wait to juice it up a bit.

Bought Evo last march and has a little over 10k since.
Dull spots on the paint. Re-buffed at the dealerhsip. 500 miles on the odo.
5th gear synchro replaced at 10k miles due to grinds. Recall issues was also performed at the same time.
Still on stock clutch and holding up fine. Motor is strong and pulls pretty hard. Still satisfied, regardless!
