Who doesn't beat on their evo?
#21
I have a lot of fun driving mine. My wife won't go on any Sunday drives up the mountain canyons anymore, it's fun for me, but scary for her. I never "launch" the car because it's way to hard on the drive train and I want the car to hold up since it is my daily driver. When given the right opportunity I will drive the car hard, but I won't abuse it.

Had the car 5 days now. Following
break-in procedure,
don't plan on mistreating the car.
I will track it on open track days, but
most track duty falls on my NASA/BMWCCA race car

Hi I work for Mitsubishi corporate.....................your warranties have all been voided. Thank you for you business.
BWAHAHAHAHAH. Just messing.
To be honest, I drive my evo pretty hard. I'm addicted to boost. I hit redline at least 5 times a day. I drove my old eclipse the same way and it had 145K miles when I sold it. Ran perfect. However, I NEVER drop the clutch ir hold it and burn it. I've only burned the clutch once on the car and that's what i wasnt paying attention and was giving it too much gas with the radio full blast accelerating at a light.

I don't have the ***** or the legal immunity to drive this car to it's potential on the street all the time. That said, lighting up all four in first/second gear is mighty fun, and I now know the true meaning of "power-merging." No hard launches for me, and I always warm her up and cool her down out of respect.
This car rocks.

I think you actually need three options in this poll.
1. I beat my car worse than a red-headed step child
2. I drive it like its meant to be driven.
3. This car revs higher than 3500rpms?
