cold air intake questions?

I just got done installing my buscher race front mount and removed the intercooler spray tank and was curious if there would be any benefit in running the intake tube down into the bumper area threw the hole where the tank was and mounting the filter behind the side vent?

Maybe, but you might be doing more harm than good by creating too much restriction. Usually a nice, short, free flowing intake with filter is the best way to go. I have seen some curved intake pipes that seem to work nicely for cold air though. Like this one off Neonglh's car. Don't mind the arrows, it was a picture to show something else, but you get the idea.

yea that came into thought too another idea i had was to maybe take a hose and run it from the bumper vent threw the hole where the reservoir was and to make a shield that almost surrounds the filter so fresh air is put into the area of the filter.

i really love the jmfab intake duct but im not sure it would work with a/c so kinda create a surrounding around the filter like the jm fab but run the tube to where i explained.
