just got in an HID kit from DDM Tuning and put it on my 05 viii today...long story short, nothings working.

I tried the reverse polarity issue, switching out the bulbs and ballasts with each other to see if either works and getting nothing!

Anyone have any other trouble shooting issues????
I'm thinking bad bulbs or ballasts possibly

 

i was a dumbass when i installed mine and forgot to plug in the main headlamp harness into the housing. lol. it is reverse polarity though. i just flipped the connector over and taped it. if your regular bulbs work and the hids don't, it's a prob with the kit. good luck!

wow i'm a big dumb animal folks.....everything had to be plugged in normally to the harness and ballasts and just the connection directly to the bulb output needed to be flipped....lights work and look great

 

good to hear, i have ddm's and had to do the same thing but ive had mine for a year now with no issues

 

glad i seen this thread before attempting to hook up my ddm hid kit today haha.. i have done many hid kits and have never had one with reverse polarity.. i would have beeen seriously irritated.. lol
