LHD / RHD Differences in the middle of the car

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some more information and I need an answer from someone who is 100% sure.

The part in question is the heating of the car - specifically the part that is located:

Looking from inside the car:
- behind the climate control buttons

Looking from the front of the car:
- behind the engine

Talking about the part that water circulates through and everything...

Now the question is - is this part the same in a LHD and a RHD car?
(and if the answer is no - is it a big deal to reroute the things needed or would I need to replace the whole unit when converting a car from RHD to LHD?)

I hope I made the question clear enough to understand...

Thanks for the help in advance,
Toxin

Oh also since someone that might reply to this topic will likely be experienced in the subject - the second question:

Can you reroute the cables from RHD to LHD through the other side of the firewall by using the same cables or do you have to swap out the whole wiring loom ?

Thanks
