my solution to those nasty front underbody panel trim screws.
For anyone who has attempted to remove the lower body panel and gotten frustrated with those retarded clips, I made a solution.
I will try and get pics posted up soon of what the clips look like, along with part numbers and all that if anyone wants to do this as well. Basically I am replacing all those clips with screws and speed clips. A simple 8mm socket, and in much less time, its off. Its a relatively simple mod to do, The only plastic trim screw that I may have to resuse is the ones on the lower subframe, but those shouldnt really give you any issues since the panel screws there are mounted on a hard surface. I thought to post this up here since I hadnt really found anything on the how-tos.

Here are some pics. I didnt put the undertray back on due to other projects I have going on.
these are the two main clips I ended up using. They are M10 speed nuts that I found at Kragen for 2.25 for a pack of 6, iirc. The bolts I ended up using were M4 1.41x20mm body bolts, part number 464200 from Kragen.
You can see where all the speed clips were installed on the ic tabs. I used the larger ones for these.
I installed the smaller clips on the fenderwell panels that you see here. The smaller ones fit better here, but for most everywhere else under the car you will need the larger ones. That clip is only partially installed so you can see it better.
Total cost for everything was about $15, so not too bad considering oem clips are pricey. Plus I feel this setup is more sturdy and easier to work on.
