With the way the JDM bumper exposes the underside of the rear of the car, it better be one elaborate set up or it's gonna look like poop. Not a lot of room to play with in terms of space.

well i would never do it myself, i disagree with most so far... most arent even giving you constructive criticism if they disagree, just hating like a noob.....

you'd have benefit of having a quieter exhaust because noise gets divided out to two mufflers. also since your able to run two smaller diameter exhaust at the end, it may also quiet things down further. i say if you got money to burn, try it out.

I don't think it looks any worse than on the X. And I don't understand all these people that are saying you shouldn't put dual exhaust on a 4 cyl. when there are plenty of cars out there now (including the Evo X) that come with dual exhaust from the factory. I agree that it probably won't net you any performance gains but it would definitely set you apart and if you think it would look good go for it. I'd like to see how it turns out.

We're only being realistic. If a four-cylinder comes with dual exhaust from the factory, then great... but it really doesn't need it and isn't really benefiting from it either. Like someone else said earlier, while cars like the Evo X, STI and S2000 all have dual exhaust, most serious owners go with the single tailpipe for the biggest gains. But if it comes with single exhaust and you convert it to dual, then that is getting dangerously close to being straight up rice. That was cool ten years ago though.

No one is trying to be mean or unhelpful, but it seems like most people here feel that strongly about converting a CT9A Evo to dual exhaust being silly.

To you, what would define "rice"?
