Wideband just stopped working

OK, I don't know how old this gauge is but it's now constantly reading 14.7-14.9. Doesn't go anywhere outside those numbers. I tried replacing the sensor and now it goes down to 14.6 but nothing lower. Could it but the gauge itself? I don't want to buy a new gauge after finding out how much one actually cost (got mine with the car)... Worked fine a few weeks ago.

I have an AEM wideband with a Bosch sensor.

I have an Innovate Gauge/ Sensor but it comes with a recalibration feature. I would check to see if there is a way to recalibrate yours....

Good Luck

It recalibrates itself every time I turn it on (it's hooked up so that it turns on with the headlights, I know, stupid). It was working fine before but now, it's just reading constant 14.9. I think last week, it would either work correctly or kept reading 14.9. Like it was dieing on me but how does a gauge like this die.

Check your connection from the wideband to the o2 sensor. This happens when you lose connectivity with the o2 sensor.

I run just regular (premium Shell 93 to be specific) gas.

OK, it's weird. It reads 14.6 when I give it gas and 14.9 when there's close to or no gas. So it's reading something but not fully. Again, I changed the sensor to a Bosch.

Yup, But to recalibrate the Innovate motorsports ones , you need to pull out the sensor from the bong and do the recalibration instructions. They say to do it 2 times a years.

AEM should be the same process IMO, I think it's more accurate when sensor calibrate itself with ambiant air than in the exhaust .

this.

i would unplug the sensor completely and see if it changes anything. sounds like the gauge died if you already replaced the sensor and the connections are good.

does the gauge sweep quickly between the 14.7-14.9 or does it kinda slowly bounce between them?

like that other dude said that is what happens when the sensor isn't plugged into the back of the gauge. did you have a chance to pull the gauge and check the connections? did you replace all the wiring or just the sensor part?
