ok knowing that i need this part as i get the specific code for it when the cel comes on...my car starts to idle crappy, so i unplug the batt and make the cel go off for the time being while i wait for the egr valve in the mail...but my car still idles really low can the egr valve still be causing this even without throwing the code? the car runs like its in limp mode even though no light is on

have you checked your egr vaccum lines?
and what kind of mods are done to your car and how much boost are you tuned at

 

The valve can still be malfunctioning without throwing a code. The only way a code is tripped is if the ECU detects that there is a type of signal that shouldn't be there.

 

mods in sig...i havent checked but im sure they are im tuned to 21 psi
