i always paint the metal brackets that start to corrode.. just a thought

powdercoating can be cheap. Someone is gonna powdercoat all my rims for only $50. that's for all of them. I'm sure I can get my valve cover PC'd for about the same price.

it's some guy in tuscon, az that's trying to get his name out there. he just wants $50 for the paint job, and just refer locals to him. but he still only charges like $100 for it typically. guy is good, too. he just charges for materials and about $25 per hour or work, ie prep time. he's fast, too.
