Exhaust Ticket

so i was driving 100% normal tonight, a cops pulls me over saying my exhaust was to loud, i was driving at 2,500 RPM.

so after getting done talking to him, he decides to give me a tint ticket also, so i got two tickets for driving normal in the dark.

ive had my car for almost 2 years now, not one ticket in it and it has been the same since day one of owning it.. this cop was just an d*ck

just going to pay the tickets, fell like i had to let my aggression out n share with people how g*y cops are

haha i totally agree with you man. i had my first evo for only 13 days, just driving normal to my friends house, till a cop thought he could run a red light to only hit me in the middle of the intersection and totaled my car. ever since then it has changed my view on cops because in the first police report the cop lied and said he stopped at the limit line and entered the intersection at 5 MPH (actually going 45-50) clearing lane by lane (which he didnt do). Definitely fighting this one and going to court over it since i had to have surgery on my shoulder and lost my job so i know exactly how you feel about them.

So by paying the tickets you are proving that the cop was right? Was he? In that case, that's your own fault. Great that you have been lucky, but deal with it. If I get pulled over for window tint, I accept that as a consequence of having too dark of windows.

If he's not right, fight the damn things.

It's the risk you take having a modified car.The cop is just doing his job, usually if you're not hostile towards the cop they let you go.

From your sig, your exhaust is probably loud. And from pics your tint looks a little too dark. Stop being a baby i say, dont hate the people that are doing their job.

Btw, are they fix-it tickets?

Cry more. Your exhaust probably isn't street legal. You broke very obvious laws(even though they are bs), now man up.

Cops get bored, so for sure you got punked by a bored cop that probly thought your car was a civic with a "fart pipe" and a wing... and he probly thought how stupid that was and pulled you over... It happens...

What percent is your tint? What's the legal limit? Also, what is PA's laws regarding modifying cars? If you broke the law you broke the law... live with it. We mod our cars knowing damn well if what we're doing is legal or not.

If you didn't break any law, fight that **** in court.

Sucks to get two tickets and i dont understand why he pulled you
over when you were crusing at 2500rpm.. maybe the cop was just having a bad day
and you were at his sight at the wrong time.

Not all the time. About 2 yrs ago when I was still in Vegas I got pulled over heading home from work. Funny thing I was about 4 houses away from the house I was renting at the time when he pulled me over. I was polite and never raised my voice and ask the cop what I was getting pulled over for and got the whole aftermarket exhaust bs. I told him that I had a cop check out my exhaust (not mentioning it was the sheriff of the county which is good friends with my cousin) and he said it was alright and not to loud. Yet he gave a ticket for that and one for having my turn signals clear and not yellow or red. I just showed the ticket to the sheriff and he signed off both tickets and said guy probably just had a bad day. Funny thing was I got pulled over again couple months after and this time I had the full TBE and now it was really noticable but this time I mentioned the sheriff and how he signed off the last tickets and after 5-10 min.checking up on it he let me go with no problems.

I like how you say "when" someone robs his house lol and even if he does call them out if it happened hes already paid for the investigation.

i'm in downtown orlando on orange ave. stopped at the light at wall street with another traffic light no more than 400 feet in front of me, an sti on my right and a rx8 on my left revving at me, and when the light turns green both of the cars take off, one peels out, i take off normal and meet them at the next light only to be met by some meat head bicycle cop who reaches through my window and takes my keys out of the ignition. i have an out of state license plate so i'm assuming this is why he proceeds to keep me there for over an hour after he let the other 2 cars go.. i get a "drag racing ticket/carless driving annnd no proof of insurance (which was my fault) lol but the worst part was he actually thought i was racing!! didnt believe the other officer who told him i did not take off fast.. this guy was just a complete *******. but this was only about 10:30 pm so after wards i was off for a night of inebriation and debauchery

If the cop didnt pull out a Decibal Meter, then you can fight it and win. plain and simple. as for tint, if its on your front windows, just take it off and that wont happen again.
