its X42 mz313375 labrabor black - but does tarmac black shine purple in the light? i don't appreciate the sarcastic-ness but i do appreciate the feedback. Could have been custom painted that I was not aware about. Dealer phrased it as phantom black and it does shine purple in sunlight.

lab black is the same color are tarmac black. It's just a little known fact that there are different names for the same color. So everyone is both right and wrong...
