got water from the radiator to the surge tank

I have a question ? when I run my evo at 4th and 5th gear later I check the level of the water in the surge tank it increase the water. Why this is happening? If I hit it on 3th gear doesn't do it... once the engine it's cool, I open the cap and refill the amount of water that it was increase before. If I run the care nicely it doesnt do anything, the water level it's ok. It's only and 4th and 5th gear. Can anyone help ?
thanks

Maybe headgasket leaking causing you to pressurize the coolant back out?

the things that I have: blackforced perfomance, eagle rods, wiseco pistons, ferrea valves, retainers and springs crower, 1000cc, walbro 255, aem computer, 280hks, exhaust 3", big intercooler... it's at 26psi and the timing around 5, 6, 7, 10 degrees tops...

I change the head gasket to a cometic one, and it start making the same thing...can it be the radiator ? or too much timing ??
thanks

It could be a number of things, most likely due to a leaking headgasket

Sounds like your heads warped a little or your block may need to be decked. Gl man!

i dont have cooling problems... and also on 3rd gear at 8,000rpm it's fine, but once I hit it on 4th and 5th and later I check the water level on the surge tank it has more water....
also if I use it daily, on heavy traffic everything works nice....
Now that you guys said something about the block...damn....

block or head may be warped just enough to still seal when not in boost.

sounds pretty normal to me. hot things expand if they didnt you would have no need for a surge tank. is it overflowing or something? if you dont mess with it does it return to normal after the car has cooled?

Buy a new radiator cap. This controls the coolant flowing into the overflow tank and the coolant flowing from the overflow tank back into the radiator.....one of the cheapest most overlooked items in the cooling system. KISS

Had this issue on our time attack car.
1) Try new radiator cap.

if that doesn't work

2) Pull the head and check head and block for flatness with a straight edge. Then go with a new gasket. Then go with studs and check that they are torque properly a few times after the car has been heat cycled. This has kept our gasket from blowing again and we abuse the car harder then most.

Take the cap off the radiator. Start the car and let it idle until warm with the cap off. You may have air build-up in the radiator. Start with the small things first then work your way up.

This was my first thought, also. Sounds to me like you probably have a headgasket issue.
