Why is everyone so surprised by the mild steel? Their non-50th anniversary ones are coated and made of mild steel too.

Exactly! It is 30th anniversary actually. I remember kids would bust my ***** at meets because I paid "all that extra money for a chrome exhaust". They didnt like when I educated them that mine is full SS and theirs only has a stainless can with aluminized coated mild steel for the rest. So yeah, I would bet a good bit this is NOT an SS exhaust.

I love HKS exhausts... I have had two, on two different cars and they just sound good. I've always gone with the hi-power though... and that's not so "stealth."

^ I know right what does everyone expect from ebay? like 90% of stuff on there is fake and made by a chinese kid who gets like 10 cents every exhaust he knocks off

HKS in my experiance uses thin metal and is prone to cracking. I have a hks Hi power exhaust, cracked at the flanges. I also had a hks turbo kit and the original and replacement manifolds cracked.
