boost reading wrong

boost reading wrong

Ok so I ordered a autometer cf series 30psi boost gauge...when I opened up the box the needle was sitting on 3 psi...i called they sent me a replacement and now the new one is sitting on 4 psi ....wtf?!


Is this normal ..is there's way to adjust it????

Some of the autometers have plastic gearing inside. I had one laying around and it was sitting wrong too. I just put some lubricant on the gear and wala! it's sitting on where it should. lol But, I'd get something else.

I tried that last year and I messed it up even more to 30psi smh

if i recall my prosport was sitting a tad off of 0 until i hooked it up and then after first power up it was fine. have you tried that?

Yes the vacation sits a 10 it supposed to set at 20 if I recall right

lol Sell it for cheap, throw it away, or just buy a different quality gauge. gl!

You mean vacuum? If your car is stock it should be around 20hg

I know they are expensive, but Defi really makes a nice gauge. Maybe give them a try.

I had the autometer ultra-lite on my civic. It was about 1-2 PSI off and I still put it in. After the initial start up it fixed itself. and most inportantly it was accurate.

You can try to using it. If not get your money back and go with something else. There are some pretty nice guages out there if you have the money for them. STRI seems to be pretty good company.

Those gauges are junk. Check out Stewart Warner or PLX devices

my autometer cf gauge reads the same as my 3 bar map sensor

yeah just get a new qauge, or bring it back
