I drove mine twice with just a downpipe. It's loud!

It was very annoying and immediatly put it back on once I got my exhaust fitment fit.

It will be loud, and the gasses will come inside your vehicle. hopefully you can get it fixed fast enought that it wont leave a permanent "gas smell" inside your vehicle.

I drove around with a 3 inch "downpipe" running out the side of my bumper for about 2 months during the summer a few years ago. I was to lazy to put my normal exhaust back on. being stuck in traffic and at red lights sucked! lol B*tch sounded mean though!

i dont have a muffler, 2.5" straight pipe from the cat to the back, and its not even loud at all

I had no exhaust on my car for awhile. On a 35r it sounded pretty crazy wish i didnt have mild cams. But i drove my car about 500 miles one day lets just say my ears where not so happy. **** was loud awesome sounding but so loud also it burnt the hell out of my undercoating to many fireballs lol

OP - you ever hear of a straight pipe?

Ya youll be fine without the muffler.

Don't throw revs at 7k or beer bottles at police cars and you should be good.

not at all, my friend drove his 20th ann. GTI with no muffler for about a month. The gases with the window up are the only thing you have to worry about lol.
