Buying an Evo -- Differences between 04 and 05?

So I am looking for an Evo. I am planning on doing some Time Attack stuff next year along with a lot of drag racing.

So I have found an 04 GSR and an 05 RS.

what should I be concerend about with both models and both years.

I know the RS does not have Power Windows or Door locks, no radio, but it does have a front LSD and is light weight.

The GSR appears to have an open front diff and has all the power windows, locks, HID's, ect.

If you had to pick which route would you go?

The RS won't have ABS if that's a concern.

The only thing that annoys me about the RS is the lack of power windows, but it's meant to be the stripped down version. If leaning over to roll down your passenger window doesn't get to you, I'd go for the RS.

I guess it might depend on your level of skill, but I have found the Evo ABS to work really well on the track. I wouldn't want to track a car without it. Especially if you are using race pads with a high coefficient of friction. The RS didn't come with ABS.
