Exhaust Extension

Ok so i am looking at buying a test pipe.. right now actually but i have read there is a way to extend your exhaust? this being that if you shoot a flame you will not melt your bumper. the reason i want a test pipe is because of the restriction my 2" cat from my 3"+ downpipe. so is there a way to do this? or if i were to get a test pipe are they longer then the stock cat?

nope a regular test pipe is the same size as the cat, unless the test pipe was custom made

I believe Ultimate racing has a 3 inch test pipe with the o2 fix built in.
