Rexpeed Type C was my solution... Cannot see it out the rear view mirror, and looks OEM as it matches up the body lines well.

^ Have the same wing! I get alot of compliments from others, who sometimes say they've never seen it! I will be going back and forth with the stock wing though, as I start to do track days next month!

 

It should be a direct fit. I believe it's an 02-03 lancer trunk that should fit directly.

you guys know if the color thunder metelic grey for the 02-03 lancers are the same as the GG for the IX??

 

ive been going through the battle of stock wing (31k miles its already showing clear fade ), wingless on a spare trunk so i can swap back if i want, or the rexpeed wing just REALLY grabbed my attention and the gf offered to buy it for me she liked it so much....

any one know if they fixed the clear fade issue on later model evo's like they did with the brembo's?

I used vinyl overlays for my Apex Silver Evo when I removed the trunk. They work great and you cannot notice them unless you walk right up to them....

I picked them up at a local sign shop and had them cut nickel (5 cents piece) and quarter (25 cents piece) size circles on the sheet I got...I have plenty to last me a while!

Touge Factory, a vendor on here, has vinyl stickers for all your needs...I think they should be able to help you....let me see if I can find the link for you.

I do not think an auto parts store would carry them.

Go thru your yellow pages and look up 'sign shops'....and give them a call. Or ask the Touge Factory...they for sure would have them....

 

Correct. Just recently purchased one, Wingless+JDM rear

 

I've used these panel retainers before. just use some touchup paint to color match, put a thin bead of rtv to seal it, get a 5/16 or so vac hose to hold them in.
