the only car that is current that has a chance to become the supra and one that already has is the NSX and the GTR R35

Those are bout the only 2 cars that I see coming close to the supra...

that being said, id rather own a nsx than a supra

2jz legend is no myth. I hit 415rhp with basic bolt ons, stock block/cam, stock twins, only 1.2bars. No fear of block or drivetraining blowing up. All typical result of clean mkiv's. So far evo's can't touch that level of enginneering

The OP said EVO (not VIII and IX), so yes. Specially the older ones. I would rather have an EVO V than a Supra, even if they cost the same.

Exactly my point, the average joe won't know the difference a modded pos civic and an evo.

theres too much evo 8 or 9 in the states
whereas theres not much supra in the states

For the most part, I don't disagree. By the same token, an average Joe can't tell the difference between a GNX and a black Regal with bigger wheels. It doesn't mean much to folks who actually buy the cars.

It depends... Here in the Ukraine good low mileage Evo IX costs $30K and up. And X with the same miles on the speedo but 2 years younger can be purchased for $25K.
