Will the Evo be the next Supra??
Just curious too know what everyone here thinks. And by the tittle i mean, the supra is well respected from ANYONE who knows anything about cars.. Now.. So is the Evo. But will the evo's price also be respected like the Supras value? or do you guys think our cars will depreciate to the point where anyone can afford an EVO soon.
Just curious to know everyones thoughts.

I suppose your speaking of the last gen of the supras, if so i think the production was limited making it a rare car from the start. The EVO which is still in production, im sure will be easily obtainable by anyone as time goes on. A good condition 03 evo 8 is going for as low as 13k
just my .2 cents

Evo's will never ever ever ever be like a supra in terms of value.
I repeat ever.
They already sell for 11-13k with high mileage. Rarely do you even see people asking KBB value for them. It's already too late for any type of Supra like following.
The only rare evo's in the states would be a 2005 VIII MR and 2006 IX RS. There are only 1500 VIII MR's and 1000 IX RS's. Based on searching this is what I found. Reality is those cars aren't going to bring in the type of cash a supra does. You can just purchase a GSR or RS instead if you wanted a VIII from 2005.
This has been discussed before.
I repeat ever.

I too dont think the evo will end up like the mkiv supra today but I also think that the supra got its I guess "lengendariness" from the 2JZ with it capabilities to handle very high horsepower in stock form and its Getrag 6 speed which is pretty much indestructable.

apples to oranges. supra that block was just some voodoo magic. RWD and people are making them modern. evo's aren't old enough yet. and its AWD and can be made to that level. idk not really comparable.
