i know this is ganna sound retarted but is it possible for a knock sensor to work but not set off a check engine light if knock is audible.. the only reason i ask was because i was told this??

Yes, I can speak from personal experience it can be functioning and not set off the check engine light, even if you have knock

well when i had my car tuned my tuner got it set like that so everytime car sees knock CEL flashes

I believe they have weekly meets or were at least. I have personally never been to one. I see other evos around a few times a week, but usually when I wave none of them wave back lol. What area are you moving too?
