JDM Rear Bumper Additions:

I came across this on ebay and was quite amazed. I have talking about how someone should make this peace, and I found it. Yes I know its on Ebay, but it might be worth it. Check it out and let me know what yall think.

thats not for a JDM bumper. thats goes on a regular 8 or 9 bumper, to make it look more like a JDM bumper. rexspeed and others sell these.

This peace goes to the jdm rear bumper. It covers up the gray part of the jdm bumper. I have already spoke to the seller about it. And I have not seen any of the other companies make this yet. But it is in fact for the jdm rear.

ehh. I myself wouldn't do it. Now, how about a diffuser just like that and then goes under the bumper following the lines as the fins so it can sortof replicate the APR rear diffuser? Not sure if I'm explaining it right..

I think it looks great. its better then buyer a fake jdm 9 rear bumper that has that area already carbon fiber because it might have a serious fitment issue. So to place a add on to a authentic piece wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus I think it might just screw in from underneath and double side tape for the other areas judging from the pictures. If fitment is not perfect then that would be a problem but at least you can just remove it and pitch it to the side and still have your rear bumper looking nice and clean.

I sort of get the idea. You should draw it up. I bet it could be done, then you get the privelages of saying you created that.

I agree, I think im going to buy this peace for the simple fact we dont see it around anywhere. Im all about being different. I would install it so you dont see the screws or anything.

I could see myself being tempted to buy this if I had a JDM rear yet, but even then it'd be hard to justify that much more on top of the cost of the bumper.. I'm sure it'd look good, probably go really well with a cf trunk lid if the weaves matched. Cool find!

Looks cool and all but wouldn't it be easier to just wrap the grey part of the Jdm bumper in carbon fiber material? Like the 3m di-noc stuff or the carbon fiber fabric? It would be cheaper also and if you don't like it you could just peel it off. I'd be scared to drill into my Jdm bumper

When I think about it though, this would look sick with the Jdm rear diffuser rexpeed sells

I'm sure it would be easier to wrap it. But the issue I see would be the edges pealing since it cant be wrapped all the way around. The gray part does not come off the bumper, so you would not be able to get a good wrap going. At least I know texas heat would destroy it. Overall it is a unique peace I think. I am surprised rexpeed hasnt made this peace. I might give them the link and see what they think.

True, Texas does get HOT. but maybe with 3m adhesive promoter around the edges it would hold better.
Keep us updated if you get one or not
